Estonian Non-Formal Adult Education Association

The Estonian Non-Formal Adult Education Association (ENAEA) is a non-profit association that was founded in 1994.

In 2016, 706 training courses were conducted in 32 non-formal training centres, where almost 14,000 people improved their skills and knowledge.

Between 2016 and 2019, ENAEA will carry out the following projects with the support of the European Social Fund and the Ministry of Education and Research:

  • “Entrepreneurial learner”
  • “Learning skills as the key to learning”
  • “Developing priority key competences”

The main objectives of the projects are to involve adults with lower levels of education and those who have abstained from learning earlier, and to develop the competence they need for their lives and work.

ENAEA is a member of the European Association for the Education of Adults and the European Basic Skills Network, and participates in international projects.
